i found this handy dandy "how to fold a fitted sheet" tutorial on flickr while trolling about to see if anyone had documented my favorite way to fold towels. yes, i have a favorite way to fold towels, shutup. i may one day share, if you're nice to me, as i haven't found an illustrated tutorial online. i freakin' hate folding fitted sheets and usually end up tossing a complicated, wrinkled mess of barely-folded-more-like-wadded-up fabric on top of the linens pile in our closet. i must try this next laundry day, minus the cats the recipe calls for. dander + me = not friends.
having neatly piled stacks of linens brings a little fun (as in when this crazy, anal girl opens up the linen closet and squeals at the cute, neat piles) and much-needed sanity to hated chores like doing laundry and making the bed. it's the little things. . .

ReplyDeleteI do the wrap into a ball and stuff in the closet method with fitted sheets too! I Martha Stewart on Oprah folding fitted sheets once. I need to check out that tutorial you posted.

i, too, have a favorite way to fold towels. only one tiny reason that the hubs is not allowed to do laundry in our house as he would fold them wrong. ;)

ReplyDeleteI have been "taught" how to fold fitted sheets about a hundred times, yet everytime I try and do it I end up with wrinkled mess o sheet everywhere until I end up just folding and rolling until its square shaped.
