good news bad news

good news.
i'm doing school work from home tonight rather than in my dark, dirty studio. obviously it's not that way by choice.

bad news.
i have been scanning images for over an hour and am maybe 2/3 done.

good news.
i've started to catch up on my google reader. sorry for the bombardment of comments to those whose blogs i've gotten to. totally convoluted sentence. oh well.

bad news.
i have to write something about all the scanned crap sometime before 9 AM tomorrow. if i'm writing like above, it's going to be bad. i'm not even that sleepy yet.

good news.
we have a scanner at home. otherwise i would have been like 102938479374 in line at school to use the scanner. it's slow, but not much slower than the ones at school.

bad news.
the school really should have enough and fast enough scanners for all of us, but they don't. despite what we pay them. meh.

good news.
i found some really beautiful images of our wedding venue in one of the books i'm scanning and reading for research.

bad news.
the wedding's over, and i have no use for these images.

good news.
i get to blog/read blogs while waiting for the slow-ass scanner to do its magic.

bad news.
i could be doing other school work. the workload is physically impossible to accomplish, even if one does not sleep at all.

good news.
i took a photo of the toilet for skims today. er the wall above it and me, i should say.

basically, it says it's a "generous contribution" from her school to mine.

and yes, i'm back to my unkempt student self. hairs need cutting. brows need plucking. skin needs drinking/sleeping/regular cleansing. blergh.

  1. Honestly, if I were in your class and I had no scanner at home, I would have bought one . . . and then returned it afterwards. I'm sooo bad.

  3. I'm with Winnie. Although I am annoyed on your behalf that there aren't enough scanners provided through your school.

  6. Your school should ask other schools to help provide scanners instead of toilets. But toilets are important too, I suppose. =)

  7. "Blergh" is indeed the best one-work summary of all of this.

Hope to see you next week maybe? I will e-mail.

  12. Aww..you always look like you're still in school, as in your youthfulness, not your being unkempt :)
