i got off work "on time" today. it was so nice to leave the office while it was still light out thanks to leaving on time + the time change. i had to go buy some blue books for my exam tomorrow, and despite my indignation, i practically skipped across "campus" to buy them.
indignation? you see, this spoiled, sheltered private school kid has never had to buy her own scantrons or blue books before and didn't realize schools made their students do so. thank goodness awesome prof reminded us to get one last time we had class, or else i would have shown up empty-handed.
i got home and beat the DHL plane taking off. it takes off at precisely 7:30. i watched it once before. i have only beat it home maybe twice including that first time i saw it take off. i even ran a couple of errands on my way home, warmed up dinner, and sat down at my desk before the time i'd normally walk in the door. a girl could get used to this.
alrighty, it's time to go memorize everything i didn't over the weekend. warm potatoes are happy potatoes. that is all.
Shut up! You have to buy that stuff?!

I always showed up empty handed to class. :-\ I would bum blue books and scantrons off of other people.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Mooch
the bear used to always have spares and sell them right before an exam to his classmates at 1000%+ markup. he suggests i take my extras tomorrow and do the same. the $1 profit is not worth my time to go buy some more, however.

stingy, lazy potato
Private school kids get all the perks.
ReplyDeleteI used to bring extra to pass them out for free . . . so all these people would owe me. Hahahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteyou used to get them for free?!?
