i found this image somewhere in a picasa album and am very glad to know i'm not the only one that used to cut her gummy bears into halves or thirds and re-assemble them in frankenstein fashion.
ok, ok. i'll get to the point already. i read about this secret flavor at jamba juice on sugar & rice a little while back. on my way back from my biggest shopping trip in ages this afternoon, i realized i was super thirsty and hungry just as i passed a jamba juice, so i swung in and randomly thought of this mystery flavor. i ordered. the cashier didn't even blink before asking which free boost i wanted. i sipped. like whoa. it really tastes like it, down to the aftertaste!
yes, i already googled for you:
- the recipe
- the secret menu + some other flavors' recipes
- slashfood blogs about it
- as does mighty foods
Ooooh, I will have to try this! I love the white gummy bears, too.
ReplyDeletewow!! soooo good to know, thanks for sharing, i will be ordering one the next time i'm there, but then i love robeks wayyyy better. do you know if they have a secret menu, would love to be the cool girl to order something of their menu first. hahahaha
ReplyDeleteOddly, I am neither a big frozen drink fan nor a gummy fan.
ReplyDeletePass. ;)
I do not like the white gummy bears, but I do like Jamba Juice. I've been wanting to try the secret menu for a while but it's been too cold for a Jamba run.
ReplyDeletewhite gummies are totally the best. i only eat the white and red ones :)
ReplyDeleteOooooh this sounds yummy. I'll have to give it a try :) But knowing my luck, the Jamba Juice employee will laugh at me and think I'm hallucinating.
ReplyDeleteWow. Yum! Was it too sweet by the end? I feel like afterwards I might need something savory...
ReplyDeleteI looooove the red gummy bear at Jamba Juice. I used to be a peach pleasure girl, but the red gummys is all I ever order now.
ReplyDeleteI went and ordered that after I read it on Sugar and Rice too!
ReplyDeleteSo yummy!
I'm dying to try the sour patch....
white gummies kick ass.
ReplyDeletethanks for reminding me of this. definitely a must-try once it warms up a bit.
ReplyDeletei was thoroughly entertained by that link to the secret white gummy bear jamba juice at yelp.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little, I'd eat all the other colored gummy bears, except the white ones, saving the best flavor for last. Inevitably, some little schmuck would saunter over and ask me for one, just as I was popping the last non-white bear into my mouth. No way.
ReplyDeleteI don't share white gummy bears.
OK, funny. I also cut up my gummy bears to reassemble them in Frankenstein fashion! AND the white is my favorite...along with red. Still too funny that someone else does that too. :)
