once upon a time, i said i couldn't imagine doing anything else. apparently, i've become more imaginative. or jaded. or a combination of the two.
so, some alternative careers, regardless of whether i have the ability (or any ability at all) or credentials needed for them:
librarian
book binder
graphic designer
sculptor
illustrator
writer
pianist
cartographer
a famed architectural critic recently told me my taste in art is rather archaic. it appears my taste in vocations is as well.
[a more interesting post to come on getting some of my work lithographed at an awesome little press smack in the middle of downtown.]
book binder would be fun. :)
ReplyDeletecan't wait to hear about the lithograph! congrats!
I love it when smarty-pants jerk faces list something that some of us have to Google. ::cough cartographer cough::

ReplyDeleteAs a former library staff member, I approve your choice :) I think you'd make a great graphic designer already. When I was growing up, I totally thought I'd be a pianist. But of course, reality kicked in.
