spring 2010 tunes

i love grooveshark. although its suggestions/radio aren't quite as good as pandora, it's completely free with no monthly listening limits, and you can listen to anything on demand when YOU want to listen to it. it totally got me through this past semester.

so here's a little widget with a good portion of my playlist from this past semester. it's quite...eclectic. a few instrumental things (mostly film music) because when i really need to think, i can't deal with lyrics/singing. a tiny bit of hip hop (i listened to a lot more from my own mp3 library). a little bit of [non-elevator] jazz. some female singer/songwriter tunes. some trip hop so i can pretend i'm an oh-so-hip designer that's made it with a studio that streams oh-so-hip easy listening. and some cheery vampire weekend (despite the lyrics). shouts to skims, fuzzface, and kcrw for helping me making some of these [new to me] music discoveries over the past few months.

  4. even for music, jane? every time i tune in, it's talk. there is only so much talk i can take even if it's interesting, so i usually switch stations.
